Babis  was born in Athens, Greece, and began playing  the Lute and Guitars  at the age of 7 while he was  direct  related to music through his  musician  parents.  
He started performing,composing,  and recording music from the age  12, and at the age  17 started playing the electric bass guitar.

He  lived and was involved in to the music scene   in Nsw and  Victoria  Australia, for lengthy periods of time.

This  influenced his approach  to music and his compositions in general up to  today.  

He has  performed live  and recorded in studio for major artists  from folkloric (following link)   https://www.oikonomidis.gr    to  jazz fusion 

   https://keramidakis.bandcamp.com/album/inner-relationship  ,to Jazz Funk, Pop  Jazz,     https://www.christostambouratzis.com    and in  other multi genre compositions and arrangements.
On March 10  2021   he  released the  instrumental  Single titled Helen   dedicated to his beautiful  daughter and kraft artist Helen. 

A fusion oriented EP titled Bassed  was released on

March 31 2021.

A single release  titled Unique world ethnic  instrumental featuring the Lute  and a 5 string fretless bass guitar, was released on May 2nd dedicated to   his parents music artists, 

Helen & Matthiou , to people of Santorini "his place of origin" , to folkloric group of Santorini island, and to the world.

The  single release titled  sto'pa kai sto ksanaleo    a folkroric traditional tune  released on January 27th  2022.

His latest single  titled All I Didn't Do  has been released  on August 27 2023. 

He is currently working on a great ep coming up soon   titled  Introduction which will include four tracks :  Barrier Reef ,Introduction,

New Today, and Hammer Funk, in collaboration with some  great recording  artists.
